Kate Drwecka was born in Canada and currently studies at the School of Visual Arts in New York, majoring in cartooning. At an early age, her only aspiration in life was to grow up and become Freddie Mercury. Upon realizing that this simply was not possible, she settled for her other greatest passion: comics.“Kate is incredibly talented, even though she doesn’t have a mustache like Freddie Mercury”. --Sally Cantirino
When not working on art, Kate dances to Bowie regularly, prepares for the zombie apocalypse, runs, bikes, does yoga and reads poetry.
